Labor Day Weekend Coming Soon

The Summer Inside Line - Vol 17, Num 30Sunshine drenched Stowe this week and if the forecast holds true, the final weekend before Labor Day should be very nice. Golfers have certainly benefited from the return of good summer weather and if this is your last opportunity to take a jaunt up to Stowe before the kids start school, it will be a great weekend to be here. Summer Attractions remain open daily and it won’t be long before a drive up the Toll Road to the Summit Ridge of Vermont’s highest peak, Mount Mansfield, reveals traces of the fall foliage soon to burst upon the scene. The Cliff House is a great spot for a scenic, farm-fresh lunch and the restaurant will host another of its Summit Series gourmet dinners on Saturday evening. One more week remains in the Kid’s Summer Mountain Adventure Camp as well. Call (800) 253-4754 for more details.

Virtually every area is now completed and the retail shops and restaurants report a steady growth in business. Visitors to the community at large are of course welcomed in with open arms to sample the shops, restaurants and ambiance of the building. The Preview Center at Spruce Peak has informational displays and a staff on hand who can offer the latest details on the property and the many different residential opportunities that now exist in the new Spruce Peak at Stowe. Now that this first phase of the hotel is essentially completed, work is already underway on the Phase II project which will offer additional rooms and suites for prospective buyers.
